Sparkling Minds Association
A pro bono website and digital presence for a Kenyan non-profit — literacy programs, young mothers support, and school sponsorship made visible, shareable, and easy to support.
What was broken
Sparkling Minds Association runs vital programs — from a book club for underprivileged children to young mothers support, school sponsorship, and beach cleanups — but their impact was hard to discover online. Without a cohesive website, prospective donors, volunteers, and sponsors could not easily understand the mission or take action.
What we built
As a pro bono initiative, we designed and built smakenya.org around SMA’s heart: “Every child deserves a page of possibility.” The site structures each program clearly — Book Club, Young Mothers, Adopt a Child to School — with donation and engagement paths woven throughout. We paired the launch with social media support to amplify stories, drive volunteer interest, and make giving feel immediate and trustworthy.
What changed
Sparkling Minds Association gained a digital platform that matches the warmth of their work on the ground — increasing visibility for their programs, making donations and sponsorships easier, and giving volunteers a clear way to connect with meaningful opportunities in Kenyan communities.
