What was broken
Kenya’s informal workforce powers homes and businesses every day — but finding trusted plumbers, electricians, and other fundis was still fragmented. Clients struggled to compare skills, verify quality, and hire with confidence, while skilled workers lacked a professional way to showcase work, apply for jobs, and build reputation online.
What we built
We built Fundi Link as a full product stack: a marketing site at fundilink.com, a web app at web.fundilink.com, and native mobile apps on Google Play. The experience covers location-based search, verified profiles, job posting and applications, real-time chat, portfolios, ratings, and a community timeline — all designed for how Kenyan clients and fundis actually discover and hire each other.
What changed
Fundi Link launched as Fuli Africa’s flagship marketplace — giving clients a faster path to qualified fundis, giving professionals a platform to grow their customer base, and tying together web and mobile touchpoints under one trusted brand.
